1. My hometown is very busy. There's always people doing something. I remember the hot summer days that my mom would fill up the little kitty pool we had, and me my cousins would sit in the pool.
2. My first teacher I remember is my fourth grade teacher. Her hair always looked like it was falling out. She was so caring and always tried to make everything as fun as possible. I remember the time we were learning about the titanic and she split the class up into different divisions of wealth class like they did in the movie. 3.The time i got arrested. I was caught passed curfew and i ended up running and getting chased down. 4. Our family tradition is we always get together on Christmas and we just have like a family dinner with all of my moms family. We play this old Mexican board game. 5. My mother. She is very caring, and always wants whats best for me. I know sometimes i upset her but its not that i mean to. 6.The time 7.As a child i liked to always hang out with my friends or cousins.

I think what unifies these chapters is how realistic this novel is. Like there is nothing to hide everything is just how it is in the real word no sugar coating things.I think that the first part of it was mostly to inform the reader of all the background knowledge so we can really know and understand the things that happen in Makom.
This semester im going to try to always do the work that is assigned because last semester i was being lazy and never doing homework. Also i want to try and not miss a lot of school.
1. they do things like makings leases or down payments so that people that arent that wealthy don't have a chance to really live there.
2. Also they might do background checks. But people of certain races might want to move in to a community with people of the same race in order to not feel like they standout. 1.It surprised me how many times the word was used
2. I think its okay that we use the book and its meanings for a educational purpose. 3. Race is how people are set apart from each other. It is how people are put into different groups. Race is how people are judged.
